BigBoi

Bigboi is the affectionate name given to the central W3Champions server. It hosts all of our services, with the exception of the individual Flo Nodes.

Some notes about this:

• Hosted in Germany

• All services are in Docker containers with Ubuntu images (18.04 & 20.04).

• uses an nginx reverse proxy

• runs a portainer management here: https://bigboi.w3champions.com/ (admin access only)

• Deploys the entire stack via docker-compose https://github.com/w3champions/docker-compose-files (private repo)

• All services use MongoDB in isolated containers

• Duplicates for each service in order to support Test & Production environments.

• Database backups daily
